The Evolen-Tape B 80-C is a coextruded, multilayer, asymmetric plastics tape acc. to DIN 30 672 (12/2000), DIN EN 12 068 (03/1999)  and ISO 21809-3 (08/2016) with DIN DVGW-reg.-no. NV-5180AU0479.

It is consisting of a stabilized PE carrier foil, coated on both sides with permanently plastic compound on butyl rubber basis.

The Evolen-Tape is used as corrosion protective coating for buried or immersed pipelines and fittings with operating temperatures up to 50°C for high corrosive and mechanical stress and for the site applied corrosion protective coating in the area of the welded seams as well as for the repair of mechanical damages in factory coatings of PE, PP or PUR

Four layer system

  • Testo® Primer-S
  • 4 layers Evolen-Tape B 80-C, (2 wraps with 50% overlap each)

Standard's indication of the coating

  • Coating EN 12068 - C50
  • Coating DIN 30672 - C50
  • Coating ISO 21809-3, type 12-1 (up to 50°C)
  • DIN DVGW-reg. no: NV5180AU0479

Three layer system

  • Testo® Primer-S
  • 3 layers Evolen-Tape B 80-C (1 wrap with 67% overlap each)

Standard's indication of the coating

  • Coating EN 12068 - B50
  • Coating DIN 30672 - B50
  • Coating ISO 21809-3, type 12-1 (up to 50°C)
  • DIN DVGW-reg. no: NV5180AU0479

The stress class acc. to EN 12068, DIN30672 and ISO 21809-3 depends on the used outer tape.

Attention! Our coating systems are not suitable for the sealing of leakages in media transporting pipelines, but exclusively for the prevention and protection from corrosion.
