The Evolen-Tape OP 1 is a multilayer, asymmetric tape acc. to DIN 30672 (12/2000), DIN EN 12 068 (03/1999), ASTM D 1000 (01/2010) and ISO 21809-3 (08/2016). It is consisting of a PE carrier foil, stabilized especially against heat at UV-radiation, coated on both sides with permanently plastic adhesive on butyl rubber basis. The caoutchouc layers are on both sides soft and sticky and ensure an extremely rapid amalgamation of the overlapping tapes.

The Evolen-Tape OP 1 may be applied without primer due to the special viscosity of the inner caoutchouc layer and its especially high stickiness. 

The tape is suitable for continuous operating temperatures up to 50°C and compatible with factory coatings of PE, PP, epoyx and PU.
