The Vogelsang-Shrinkable Sleeve LSM FIX is consisting of a cross-linked and stabilized polyethylene carrier foil, coated on the inside with a permanently plastics mass on butyl caoutchouc basis.

The Vogelsang-Shrinkable Sleeve LSM is a warm applied corrosion protective sleeve.

It is used in the transient area from the soil to the site applied coating of corrosion endangered steel poles (e.g. light poles, traffic signs, information plates and traffic lights). In order to obtain an optimal protection in the critical transient area it is recommended to place the Vogelsang-Shrinkable Sleeve LSM FIX in such a way that it ends approx. 100 mm above the earth’s surface.

The Vogelsang-Shrinkable Sleeve LSM FIX may be installed in the facilities of the pole producer as well as in the pole storage.

Due to its high mechanical stability and its low water vapor und oxygen permeability, the Vogelsang-Shrinkable Sleeve LSM is a reliable corrosion protection.

Structure of the system:

  • no primer

Special advantage:

  • subsequent and rapid installation is possible
  • the installed wrap-around sleeve has a high mechanical resistance

    Attention! Our coating systems are not suitable for the sealing of leakages in media transporting pipelines, but exclusively for the prevention and protection from corrosion.
