The Shrinkable Sleeves SM C 50 with separate closure strip are warm applied sleeves acc. to DIN 30 672 (12/2000), DIN EN 12 068 (03/1999) and ISO 21809-3 (08/2016) with DIN DVGW-reg.-no. NV-5180BO0002, that serve especially for the coating of welded seam joints.

After expert preparation of the pipe surface to be coated, the use of a primer is not necessary.

The sleeves are used as corrosion protective coating for buried or immersed pipelines and fittings with operating temperatures up to 50°C for high corrosive and mechanical stress as well as for the site applied corrosion protective coating in the area of the welded seams and for the repair of mechanical damages in factory coatings.
