The Vogelsang-Shrinkable Sleeve TSM C 50 is a shrinkable wrap-around sleeve acc. to DIN 30 672 (12/2000), DIN EN 12 068 (03/1999) and ISO 21809-3 (08/2016) with DIN-DVGW-reg.-no.: NV-5180BS0100. It has been developed especially for the coating of already installed socket joints. The shrinkable wrap-around sleeve consist of a cross-linked stabilized polyethylene carrier foil, coated on the inside with a permanently plastics mass on butyl rubber basis. The sleeve serves for the corrosion protective coating for buried or immersed pipelines and frequently used ductile cast or steel pipelines with outside PE-factory coating and operating temperatures (fitness) up to 50°C. Frequently the sleeve serves to guarantee an improved site applied protection for socket joints and protection from root growth, that is frequently required. The compatibility with factory coating of PE, PP, Epoxy, PU and bitumen is assessed.

Attention! Our coating systems are not suitable for the sealing of leakages in media transporting pipelines, but exclusively for the prevention and protection from corrosion.
