The Shrinkable Tape SB C 50 is a corrosion protective tape acc. to DIN 30 672 (12/2000) and DIN EN 12 068 (03/1999). The Shrinkable Tape C 50 has the stress class C.

It consists of a cross-linked and stabilised polyethylene carrier foil, coated on the inside with a permanently plastics mass on butyl rubber basis. The tape serves for the corrosion protective coating of buried or immersed pipelines and fittings with operating temperatures up to 50°C. The tape is especially suitable for the site applied corrosion protective coating of bends and t-pieces. The tape also offers an optimum site applied corrosion protection in the area of the welded seams and for the repair of mechanical damages in factory coatings of PE, PP, EP, PUR.
