The Vogelsang Mastic SM C50 is a warm applied sleeve acc. to DIN 30 672-1, DIN EN 12 068 and ISO 21809-3 and is consisting of a cross-linked and stabilized polyethylene backing, coated on the inside with a mass on basis of a polymere-modified bitument. The structure of the backing is designed as a thermo-indicator. The structured surface is getting smooth with sufficient heat.

After expert preparation of the pipe surface to be coated, the use of a primer is not necessary. The shinkable sleeve is used for the site applied coating in the area of the welded seam and for the repair of mechanical damages in factory coatings. Due to its high mechanical resistance and its low water vapour and oxygen permeabitlity the Vogelsang Mastic SM C50 is a reliable corrosion protection.
